Špindlerův Mlýn
Mountain town and one of the most important recreation centre in Giant mountains. It is situated in the valley of Labe near the junction with Dolský brook. It has originated 100 years ago as mining and lumber village. In 19th century Špindlerův mlýn started to be an important recreation centre. The biggest development came after the First Word War. In this time there were built a lot of hotels and pensions. To the town ranks the biggest ski centre St. Peter. Two funiculars go from the town to the tops of mountains Medvědín and Přední Planina (Pláň). A lot of ski tows, downhill courses and cross-country skiing lines offer ideal conditions for lowers of winter sports.
Giant Mountains
The Krkonose region features the highest mountain of the Czech Republic – Snezka (1602m) and the spring of the mighty Labe/Elbe river. The treasures of this area include an extraordinary flora and fauna and the unique northern tundra on the mountain range (e. g. Upa Peat). Examples of the wide range of traditional architecture can be found in Paseky nad Jizerou and several historically and urbanistically relevant towns in the foot-hills, e.g. Vrchlabí, Trutnov, Jilemnice, Hostinné, Kowary and more.

Agua Park
AQUA Park Špindlerův Mlýn offers pleasant relaxation in recreational and children´s swimming pool with three water slides including a bost slide. Available are also small and large whirlpool, wild river, massage jets, aqua bike etc.
